Project coordinator:
Aid and Hope Program for Cancer Patients Care (AHP) is a non-profit non-governmental organization operating in the Gaza Strip since 2009.
AHP is seeking to hire one Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the activities under the project “Supporting community resilience against COVID-19 through community-based activities”, funded by USAID in partnership with International Medical Corps (IMC). The project will be implemented during seven months (February 2022 – August 2022) by Aid and Hope Program for Cancer Patients Care in Gaza.
- Position title: Project Coordinator.
- Location: Gaza City.
- Duration of Contract: 7 months.
- Report to: General Manager.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for developing, planning and implementation of the project plans and activities within budget and timeline in coordination with donors and partners.
▪ Responsible and accountable for the performance of the project in terms of outputs, quality, efficiency and compliance with USAID, IMC and Aid and Hope for Cancer Care Program rules and policies.
▪ Daily follow-up, supervision and guide project implementation work. Ensuring project deadlines are met.
▪ Ensure that all implemented activities in the field well supervised and met the required standards.
▪ Track and manage reports from team members and prepare monthly and final reports for the donor.
▪ Create project schedules and task lists for the team members and communicate to ensure efficiency.
▪ Monitor and evaluate performance of team regularly to ensure that the long-term project goals are being achieved.
▪ Act as the main point of contact both for the partner organizations and the team involved.
▪ Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
▪ Ensures that all needed information/figures necessary for reporting are well tracked and recorded.
Required skills and qualification:
▪ Master / BSC in Public heath, medical doctor, nursing or any other relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in working with NGOs.
▪ Demonstrated experience in project management: planning, monitoring and evaluation.
▪ Excellent analytic and interpretation skill of data to track performance against program indicators.
▪ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures.
▪ Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic and communication skills.
▪ Ability to work independently, under pressure and under tight deadlines.
▪ Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
▪ Vaccinated.
