Al-Sununu for Culture and Arts Association is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that began operating in 2010, dedicated to alleviating the psychological suffering of children and youth through its musical programs for children and youth, regardless of race, religion, or gender. It was officially registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under No. GA-1142-CU under the Charitable institutions and Civil Organizations Law No. (1) of 2000.
Al Sununu recently received a grant from the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ) to implement the “Enjoy Your Life with Music” Project. Which aims to enhance the mental health and psychological resilience of school children, especially children who have been subjected to violence or who suffer from post-traumatic stress, through psychosocial support activities using music. Al-Sununu wishes to appoint the following Part-time position as follows;
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Place: ِAl Sununu Office, Gaza
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare an M&E plan for the project.
- Closely monitor the project’s progress against intended results and relevant indicators.
- Lead M&E plan implementation and lead the development and design of M&E tools, and participate in data collection using different methods (e.g., pre and post-evaluation, conducting reflection sessions, focus groups, etc.)
- Develop, monitor, and revise the project’s logical framework (log frames) in line with various donor requirements and the organization’s strategy.
- Create and support the implementation of baseline assessments.
- Establish best practices to ensure accurate, timely, and appropriately disseminate information in high-quality reports.
- Analyze data with the support of the program coordinator and project’ coordinator to provide recommendations on project improvements and corrective measures.
- Produce frequent M&E progress reports with status of results.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Management, Social Development, or another related field.
- At least three years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within NGOs related to Psychosocial support projects.
- Excellent critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Good reporting and writing skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to gain support from staff across the team and to build the capacity of others.
- Excellent communication skills; able to work independently or within a team comprised of various departments under tight deadlines.
- Excellent in Arabic and English (written and oral communication skills, including presentation).
- Excellent computer skills.
- Successful experience in proposal writing is a plus.
